“It took me ages to choose a lightweight 2 in 1 for my old, arthritic mum. She’s finding it difficult to lug the upright around now.

This Bissell is essentially a hand cleaner with an extension pole and a floor head.

It sounds simple, but it works. I’d have preferred a roller brush on the floor head rather than a rubber strip – hence 4 stars. That said, it picks up ver well, even off carpet. Also the head angles very low for getting under tables etc.

It is so light and so much quieter than the big upright.

I’ll pop round with the big one once in a while, but this allows my mum to have a quick whizz round when she needs.

“I have a chronic back condition but with hard flooring and 3 miniature schnauzers I need to keep on top of cleaning the floors. However, my old vacuum is heavy and cumbersome so I wanted something light which wouldn’t pull my back.

This does the job perfectly and is great on my hard floors. Its not so good on carpet because it doesn’t have brushes but that doesn’t bother me at all.

Its very easy to assemble and can be changed quickly to a hand held cleaner.

I am very impressed with this little device especially for the price.”

“I got this because I needed a lightweight vacuum with a long handle for picking up lightweight cat litter overspill thanks to 3 very large cats. I put it all together easily, switched it on and pushed it along the floor ……. it was all still there.

Tried it without the large head …… still there!

Opened the canister to find about a teaspoon of litter falling off the outside of the filter cup and back on to the floor!! I also found that anything I did manage to pick up fell right back out of the spout if I held it up then pointed it back at the floor.

I REALLY should have kept the packaging until I’d had it for a few days ……….. very frustrating!!!!!”
